CODi’s Capsule is nothing more but simple, neoprene made sleeve for your Apple tablet. It’s definitely not an on-the-go solution although it may be considered as such (declared as “ultra-portable solution” by manufacturer) if you decide to take a risk. We would rather recommend it as an extra protection for your iPad when carried inside another bag or case. An interesting fact about this sleeve: there’s no zipper, fastener or any other type of secure closureRead more »

Finally we’ve got a product made of real leather! 95% of items declared as leather-made are actually fake but this shoulder strap carrying case by Simplism is for real. That’s why its weight goes slightly above 1 pound which is quite OK because, at the end, this case is made to carry iPad with hands free. Our intention is not to compare it with famous Indiana Jones carrying bag, but it seem like Simplism borrowed a whole lot from its design. Beside, Indiana Jones by Templebags will cost you over $180! No matter what, let’s get back to the subject of this review…Read more »
So far, iPad keyboard cases seem to follow two schools of thought — the folio and the mini-clamshell — and while both have their merits, neither do the job quite as well as the set of chiclets on your standard netbook. Best Buy’s in-house Rocketfish label has a different idea: forget about making it svelte, and just hand you a full-size Bluetooth laptop keyboard that holds your iPad as well. It’s called the iCapsule, and as you can probably tell it can accommodate your slate in both portrait and landscape modes, and when you’re done it folds up into a hardshell case with an integrated carrying handle.Read more »

Apple is in love with single piece aluminum bodies, even going as far as purchasing an aluminum manufacturer to refine the process. It makes sense then to buy a case made out of the very same material. Drawcase is a small company located in the UK that produces great looking, albeit a bit heavy, aluminum cases machined from blocks of 6061 aluminum, commonly used for home-built aircraft, which are then anodized in 4 striking colors or kept naked. Finally, the Draw logo, or your own custom logo, is laser engraved onto the front cover. The whole ordeal is kept tightly closed with the power of magnets (how do they work?). Currently, they are only available for the original iPad, but Drawcase is working on an iPad 2 model.Read more »
